the goal

On August 8, 2016 Chris Andrews set out to research phone addiction in the United States. Over 200 days, Chris walked 3,200 miles westward, pushing a cart filled with supplies, sleeping on lawns and speaking with people he met along the way.

In March 2017, Chris completed his walk with his feet in the Pacific Ocean. While his walk across America has been completed, this is just the beginning for the Let's Talk Project. A documentary and a book about the journey will be released in 2018.

We must disconnect in order to connect with the people around us.

The walk began in Washington DC and finished in Los Angeles after 9 months.

Face TO FACE

"Social media puts this wall between people. It acts as a middle man that takes out conversation."

- Mile 638

During my journey, I collected portraits of people I met along the way and asked them what face to face communication means in their lives.
